Saudi Arabia Swine Flu Vaccinations Begin

Saudi Arabia will begin to inject the swine flu vaccine to health workers and local pilgrims next week. So far, Saudi Arabia has received 11 million doses of flu vaccine A (H1N1).

Government of Saudi Arabia urged the workers who served in the pilgrimage season this year in Mecca and Medina to be vaccinated, priority is the local congregation.
The vaccine is intended for health workers, hundreds of thousands of civil servants and private sector involved in the pilgrimage and the holy town of Mecca and Medina.

More than two million worshipers from 80 countries will meet the country's western region during the pilgrimage season, and will culminate on 25-29 November. That number includes one million worshipers of the country.
